Trivia: The main scientist characters, Clive and Elsa, are named as an homage to Bride of Frankenstein (1935), a similarly themed movie. Colin Clive played Dr. Henry Frankenstein while Elsa Lanchester played Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley/The Bride.
Goofs: Continuity: When Clive and Elsa return to work for the first time after the farm scene, they enter the lab with Elsa on the right side and Clive to her left side (viewer perspective). William Barlow appears and handle them both a lab coat. Suddenly Clive and Elsa have split position and in the next scene, Mr. Barlow, which was facing the entering door, now has his back on it and Clive and Elsa have split position again.
