Trivia: Antonio Resines was attached to star as one of Alatriste’s partners but was injured in a car accident few weeks before the shooting. However, he didn’t withdraw and went to the set with one crutch. Finally, he appears in the last scene, as one of the Spanish soldiers in the battle of Rocroi.
Goofs: Continuity: During the white flag scene at Rocroi, the corpses around the Spanish soldiers move between takes.
